ePortfolios

Athy College was delighted to be one of the Irish schools selected to participate in the European project exploring the use of eportfolios in the classroom.  With prior experience of Moodle we utilised Mahara as our platform and developed its use as a teaching and learning toll within the school.
We were further selected to be one of two schools to be videod as a training exemplar by the PDST and one of the 14 European schools to present at the European Conference in Dublin Castle in April 2015.
Details of the European ePortfolios project can be found on  eufolio.eu

In a caring school, we are dedicated to fostering educational excellence, empowering all students to reach their full potential - academic and social, physical and spiritual. Through partnership and co-operation we openly respect and nurture the dignity and uniqueness of each individual.
