Athy Wellness Week

Next week, Oct 13th - 17th, Athy College is participating in Athy Wellnes week which is a set of events to promote positive mental health and well-being for students and parents. This is a HSCL le initiative in conjunction with Scoil Mhichil Naofa, all primary schools on our campus and Ard Scoil na Trionaide. Several community partners are also involved including Athy library.

Morning Walk  - Parents to meet up in Scoil Phadraig Naofa each morning at 9.15am for walk

Mindfulness Practice - Dealing with Stress and Anxiety Talk for Parents 7.30pm Tues 14th Oct Athy College

Building Confidence and Self-Esteem Talk for Parents Scoil Mhichil Naofa 7.30 Thurs 16th Oct Scoil Mhichil Naofa

For Students:

Full class set of 'The Apple Tart of Hope' novel by Sarah Moore Fitzgerald for second year students and slot with author at Athy library on Friday 24th Oct

Talk from Mental Health Ireland 'Self Care in Leaving Cert' Thurs 16th Oct 10.45 - 12 midday.
