Athy College is delighted to announce that it will be a venue for the Darkness into Light 5K Walk/Run next May in aid of Pieta House. Hundreds of people have left the town annually to participate in this moving response to Mental Health issues and now we have our own venue. Already schools and clubs have expressed an interest in making this event a vehicle around which Athy can unite and show the power of numbers and the unity of a community. We will shortly have a Facebook page but in the meantime schools, clubs or individuals wanting to get involved can contact dil@athycollege.ie
