Two years ago exactly Irish schools closed for the first time due to the pandemic and to commemorate it Athy College is taking part in the “Vaccinations for the Nations” campaign.
UNICEF are trying to raise funds to organise vaccinations for the third world countries and we are holding a fundraising event on Friday (11/3/2022) to assist.
Year Heads and the Deputy Principal and Principal are sticking their necks out to show support. For €2 students will have the opportunity of throwing wet sponges at the poor victims (Year Heads, DP and P) All in good spirit and all for a good cause
