In line with the introduction of stern Covid restrictions nationally Athy College is issuing a strong reminder to all students to comply with our Covid regulations. Students who are repeatedly having to be reminded to correctly wear masks and are not covering their noses are posing a real threat to others in the school. This is equivalent to not wearing a mask and will be treated as such. We realise that there is a level of exhaustion among both students and staff but it is important that we keep each other safe as we approach Christmas.
We have all praised our frontline workers, particularly those in the health settings, and our best way to thank them is by collectively helping to fight Covid by mask wearing and hand sanitising. Let’s all keep each other safe.
