Athy College were delighted to welcome Garda Sean O'Mahoney and Road Safety Officer Declan Keogh to the school today to talk to students about road safety, particularly related to cycling. Athy College has a high percentage of students who cycle to school and their safety and the safety of other road users is of major concern. Both of our guests provided some harrowing examples of the results of bad judgement on the roads. Thank you Sean and Declan.
