 StudeAthy College students were treated to some extraordinary good advice when they were addressed by Elma Walsh, mother of the late Donal Walsh who lost his life to cancer at age 16. Elma relayed Donal's positivity by telling students to live life and enjoy it to be the best that you can be. She emphasised the value of sleep, outdoor exercise and spirituality. A most riveting address to a captive audience. Students then presented her with a cheque for €470 which had been contributed. Her talk kicks off a week of events for Athy College Mental Health Week.
