New Technologies at Athy College

The introduction of the iPads in the classrooms has proved very popular in Athy College.  Teachers have now begun to receive training on their improved use in the classroom.  The purchase of a number of class sets adds to the promotion of using new technologies in education.  Many teachers are now encouraging their students to bring in their own devices and improved wireless throughout the building is allowing us to use our tablets, netbooks, laptops and MacBooks seamlessly.
The use of visualisers in practical areas and the introduction of online resources through Moodle are well advanced.  Watch this space.
