Thank You to School Staff

As we approach Hallowe’en and amid all of the uncertainty of whether schools close or open in Level 5 can I say on behalf of parents and the community a very special thanks to our teachers, SNAs and school staff.  With restrictions on how many people we can safely see on a daily basis our teachers have become Ireland's second line of frontline workers who daily engage with dozens and even hundreds of students.  I humbly say a very sincere thanks to these national heroes who each day help this country in the battle against Covid.

Please help to keep our schools safe by not visiting schools unnecessarily.
