The Three Amigos

​Mrs Sheila Brennan, Mr Frank Whelan and Mrs Ailis Reidy, would like to express a ‘sincere thanks’ to all the present and former staff at Athy College who entertained them on Friday night the 10th November in the Clanard Court Hotel. The occasion was organised to celebrate the retirement of the three teachers, who, between them have 110 years of teaching service. The majority of those years was in St. Brigid’s Post Primary school on the Carlow Road and recently in Athy College.
“We would like to take this opportunity to express our best wishes to all students especially those who are taking state exams in the school year 2017/2018 and to thank all of the former students of the school whom we’ve had the privilege to work with. We wish you successful futures. It has been an honour”.
